Dunlea Stage 5 students have been studying World War 1 in History
This has involved increasing an understanding of how and why trench warfare developed, the terrible conditions the soldiers endured and researching the involvement of ANZAC soldiers in the Gallipoli campaign.
This culminated with a wonderful experience at the ANZAC War Memorial in Hyde Park. Dunlea students participated in an interactive workshop focused on the ANZAC soldiers and their horses. This moving presentation brought to life much that they had learnt.
