Our young people in Fleming House have been busy gardening. After much composting and shovelling, the garden beds were prepared and ready for planting. Our friends at Bunnings Kirrawee kindly donated all sorts of plants.
Mark from Bunnings shared lots of advice about gardening and then worked with our young people planting winter vegetable such as cabbages, cauliflowers, shallots, capsicum, parsley, garlic and some lettuces.
Mark shared his life story and spoke of career opportunities for our young people.
