Mental Health Month Ends With Honourable Gladys Berejiklian & Mr Lee Evans MP

Dunlea Centre MHM activities culminated this morning with an address from the Honourable Gladys Berejiklian & Mr Lee Evans MP.

Both the Premier and Mr Evans spoke about mental health and the challenges everyone has faced this year with the pandemic and natural disasters. The Premier encouraged all young people to access the help and support that is available to them here at Dunlea Centre.

Mr Evans was very open about difficulties we face at different times in our lives and the importance of building resiliency and increasing self-awareness.  He said “It is so important to seek help when we need to, so be brave and speak out.”  Mr Evans also encouraged everyone to look out for each other.

Dunlea Centre thanks both the Premier & Mr Evans for taking time out of their busy schedules to support Dunlea young people and their families.
