HIGH TEA AT DUNLEA

Dunlea day students held a High Tea to raise money for a trip to the snow.

Our young people were determined to make this event a huge success, designing the invitations and then visiting the residents at John Paul Village to hand deliver them.

Our students then worked tirelessly making sandwiches, scones, slices and macaroons to serve at the event. They even learnt how to fold Origami Roses for the High Tea.

A wonderful time was had by all our guests from John Paul Village. Three of our guests were over 100 years of age. Ken said  “It’s the best High Tea I’ve ever had, and I’m 100 years old”.

Dunlea Centre applauds our young people for their incredible effort. Enjoy your time at the snow. You deserve it!
